US Patent No. 11,730,689 B2 (Paolo Goi, Margherita Nicoli, Teresa Caccia, Sonia Vaccaro, Alessandra Mori); Davines S.p.A., Parma, Italy, has patented a formulation for hair that contains a binding agent; an aqueous solvent; and one or more cosmetically acceptable excipients. The binding agent is a mixture of liposol maleate and maleic acid. The weight ratio between the liposol maleate and the maleic acid is 5:95 to 95:5....
